The Spa Assistant position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail and customer service expertise while contributing to a memorable spa experience for every guest.

Duties

• Client Care - Greet guests warmly, providing exceptional customer service, educating and guiding them through available spa services and retail products
• Manage retail sales - transactions using a POS (Point of Sale) system through Sunlynk , including payment processing, and some retail math calculations.
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and maintaining a clean, organized retail area
• Promote spa services through effective communication and suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Handle face-to-face inquiries professionally, answering questions about treatments, and providing information about products
• Salon Maintenance -Keep areas sanitized and organized. Participate in deep cleaning to prepare for store audits.

Requirements

• Age Requirement - Must be 18 years of age or older
• Personality - Outgoing, positive, coachable, and customer-focused
• Prior experience with POS systems, or retail sales transactions is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience in a customer service environment is a plus
• Physical ability - Able to stand, move quickly, stoop, bend, lift up to 30 pounds in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills with excellent etiquette and active listening capabilities
• Product knowledge, merchandising, and upselling techniques
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• A genuine passion for wellness, beauty, or skincare industries is advantageous

Pay: From $12.50 per hour
