What are the responsibilities and job description for the Motor Winder position at GLM Energy Services LLC?
Primary Job Functions
- Performs dismantling, rewinding, repairing, reassembling, testing, etc., on equipment such as motors, generators, turbine generator stators and fields, rotary converters, transformers, regulators, etc.
- Performs related duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Meet a minimum of one of the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience performing testing / inspection and conducting repairs on motors up to 7500HP
- Minimum of 3 years of experience doing disassembly / reassembly work on large generators in either industrial or utility power plant
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with large scale electrical components or as an electrician
Must pass preemployment drug screen and participate in random drug testing program.
Salary range is DOE.
Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts as needed to meet customer demands.
