Glitz & Glamour Kids Events creates unforgettable, confidence-building experiences for children through themed storytime and makeover events in Columbia, Lexington, and Sumter, SC. We bring imagination to life through our Confidence-building events, combining storytelling, character performances, makeovers, and royal parades that inspire every child to shine.
We are now hiring friendly, dependable performers to join our Royal Cast for upcoming winter and Spring events.
Open Roles
The Snow Queen Elsa and Belle Princess
- Play a royal Frozen-style character or Belle
- Perform with warmth and friendliness while engaging with children
- Lead children through themed activities, story readings
Must enjoy working with children, wearing costumes, and lots of smiles
The Knight/Hero performer
- Play the role of a friendly, brave Knight who encourages kids to be confident and kind
- Lead mini parades, group games, or confidence activities
- interact with children and parents in a fun, professional manner
- Assist with light setup and photos as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Outgoing, upbeat personality and clear communication skills
- Reliable and punctual(must arrive on time for events)
- Experience with children, theater, dance, or cheer is a plus, not a must; we will provide training
- Comfortable performing in costumes and being photographed
- Must be 17 years or older
- must have reliable transportation to Columbia, Lexington
Background check required before hire
Compensation
- $100-$120 per 2-hour Event (depending on role)
- Paid training and costume provided
- Monthly Events
- Compensation will be more if the event lasts more than 2 hours
Schedule
- Weekends (Saturdays or Sundays)
- Events typically run 2-5 hours, including setup, breakdown and photos
- Great for college students, actors, dancers, or educators looking for flexible, fun weekend work
