What You'll Do
- Learn new skills on the job. Work alongside experienced technicians and learn the ins and outs of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform specific duties during both operating and non-operating hours in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.
- Conducts routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency breakdowns.
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request new materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Travel to different job sites (no two days are the same!)
What We're Looking For
- Entry-level candidates welcome--mechanical aptitude beats experience.
- Basic hand tool knowledge or willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and a "figure-it-out" attitude.
- Must be willing to travel to multiple sites. Raleigh, NC, Durham, NC, and occasionally Wilmington, NC.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces)
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, push, and pull objects.
- Ability to regularly lift 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs.
- Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions.
- Ability to lift objects of various dimensions and weights.
