Oracle EBS Techno- Functional Consultant

Need a strong Technical consultant with 60% focus on Technical and 40% functional.

Role Objective

The candidate will act as a bridge between technical execution and functional requirements, leading the design and deployment of RICEW components. You will be the primary technical lead for Work in Process (WIP) data migrations, ensuring legacy manufacturing data is accurately converted into Oracle EBS using standard APIs and open interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• WIP Data Conversion: Lead the end-to-end data migration for Manufacturing. This includes extraction from legacy systems, cleansing, and loading into WIP_JOB_SCHEDULE_INTERFACE and WIP_JOB_DTLS_INTERFACE.
• Technical Development (RICEW): Design and develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, and BI Publisher.
• Functional Expertise: Map business processes for Finance (GL, AP, AR), SCM (INV, PO, OM), and Manufacturing (BOM, WIP).
• WIP Mass Load Management: Execute and troubleshoot the WIP Mass Load concurrent program to import discrete jobs, operations, and resources.
• Documentation: Author technical designs (MD.070) and conversion strategies (CV.040/CV.060) following AIM/OUM methodologies.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL packages for high-volume data loads using TKPROF and Explain Plan.

Required Technical Expertise

• Core Development: Expert-level PL/SQL, SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Frameworks: Hands-on experience with OAF (Oracle Application Framework) for personalizations and extensions.
• WIP Integration: Proficiency with WIP Move Transaction APIs, Material Issue APIs, and managing the WIP_INTERFACE_ERRORS table.
• Workflow & AME: Experience customizing Oracle Workflow Builder and configuring Approvals Management Engine (AME).

Required Functional Knowledge

• Manufacturing: Deep understanding of Discrete Manufacturing, including Work in Process (WIP) job lifecycles and Bills of Material (BOM) structures.
• Supply Chain: End-to-end flow of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Finance: Knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA) and how WIP/Inventory transactions interface with the General Ledger (GL).

Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent technical degree.
• Implementation Experience: Minimum 10 Years of experience including 2–3 full life-cycle Oracle EBS R12 implementations with a focus on Manufacturing modules.
• Exclusion: Knowledge of Oracle Fusion/Cloud is not required; expertise must be centered on EBS R12 technical architecture.
