About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Architecture Principal to lead enterprise-scale AI and digital transformation initiatives for Fortune 500 organizations. This is a highly strategic leadership role responsible for defining enterprise architecture, driving modernization programs, influencing executive stakeholders, and delivering innovative, scalable, and secure technology solutions.
You will work closely with business leaders, engineering teams, and client executives to build future-ready architectures that accelerate digital transformation through AI, cloud, modern application development, and enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
- Design enterprise-wide architecture that is secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business goals.
- Lead enterprise architecture assessments and develop modernization roadmaps.
- Define short-, medium-, and long-term transformation strategies for large-scale digital initiatives.
- Provide architectural leadership across AI, cloud, data, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration.
- Drive enterprise-wide AI adoption and digital transformation programs.
- Develop reusable reference architectures, frameworks, solution blueprints, and engineering best practices.
- Lead solution evaluations and technology selection for complex enterprise environments.
- Guide architecture teams through design reviews, governance, and technical decision-making.
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, and other business leaders.
- Drive innovation through Proof of Concepts (POCs), emerging technologies, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and go-to-market offerings.
- Represent the organization through industry forums, publications, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale AI and digital transformation programs.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing enterprise technology strategy.
- Strong background in Enterprise Architecture and large-scale modernization initiatives.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, cloud-native enterprise solutions.
- Expertise in AI-first architecture, cloud platforms, data platforms, API strategy, and microservices.
- Experience with Agentic AI implementations and modern AI architectures.
- Strong understanding of Digital Engineering, Cloud, Analytics, API Management, Enterprise Integration, and Security.
- Experience building enterprise architecture practices and governance models.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Experience leading large teams of architects and providing technical coaching and mentorship.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Lean delivery methodologies.
- Ability to translate business strategy into enterprise technology roadmaps.
- Experience defining reusable transformation frameworks and architecture standards.
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise digital transformation programs valued at $10M with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong business understanding across one or more industry domains.
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following:
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- API & Microservices
- Enterprise Integration
- Customer Experience Platforms
- CRM & Commerce Platforms
- Analytics & Data Platforms
- Content Management
- SaaS/PaaS Solutions
- Experience with modern open-source technologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed architectures.
- Ability to review architecture, application design, code, configurations, and data models.
- Experience creating go-to-market offerings and reusable solution accelerators.
- Active participation in industry conferences, publications, patents, or intellectual property initiatives.
- Experience working within global delivery organizations and cross-functional teams.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent progressive professional experience will also be considered.
