Role Description The Territory Sales Representative is a full-time, hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA, with a combination of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the representative will manage and grow a defined territory by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and presenting product solutions from partner manufacturers. Daily responsibilities include scheduling and conducting sales calls and in-person meetings, tracking activities in a CRM system, and following up on leads. The role also involves coordinating with manufacturers on product information and pricing, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and attending industry events or trade shows as needed. The Territory Sales Representative will collaborate with internal team members to meet sales targets, provide regular reports, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven territory or field sales experience, preferably in building materials, distribution, or related industries.
- Strong skills in relationship-building, customer service, and communication (written and verbal).
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline, use CRM tools, and organize daily activities to meet and exceed targets.
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including in-person meetings across the Atlanta, GA and AL area and remote administrative work.
- Solid negotiation, presentation, and follow-up skills, with a focus on closing sales and maintaining long-term accounts.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and manufacturing partners.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits within the territory.
- Experience using standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools); familiarity with CRM platforms is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within the territory and occasionally attend regional trade shows or manufacturer meetings.
