Associate, Customer Success | Global Financial Services GLG is seeking an energetic, collaborative, and tenacious Customer Success Associate for its Global Financial Services team. This is a client facing position. You will focus on growing our Active User base and growing use of GLG products and services by building relationships with our existing clients, and supporting our Account Managers, on a book of accounts that include the largest and most influential investors. You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities and taking on various projects and presentations. Goals and expectations include (but are not limited to): Understand GLG's value proposition and solution offerings Learn assigned accounts and collaborate with Account Managers and internal partners to pursue untapped opportunities Understand client investment strategies to best position relevant GLG solutions Conduct outreach to existing and new clients via phone or in-person Confidently interact with clients of all seniority levels in meetings to uncover pain points Log notes from client meetings and update CRM system accordingly Support account planning and strategy around account goals Actively update client coverage and understand the importance of client mapping for thoughtful client outreach Prepare contract renewal analysis along with relationship review decks for each account renewal Interest in developing your career within this commercial path An ideal candidate will have the following: 1-2 years of sales, account management, or financial services experience Proven track record of building relationships with clients Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Excellent problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills Experience presenting to an audience over phone or in-person Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines without oversight Experience performing data analysis and translating findings into account strategies Desire to work in sales or account management as a career in the long run Experience, or interest in, selling information services and/or selling to financial services firms Bachelor's degree from a leading college or university Key performance metrics for the Customer Success Associate include Active User growth, total outreach, connected outreach, converted outreach, establishing relationships with contacts at client firms, client revenue growth, increase in users of GLG's services at client firms, and adoption of new products.
