What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher and Kitchen Steward position at Glenwild?
Glenwild is looking to fill the very important role of Dishwasher & Kitchen Steward in the Glenwild clubhouse kitchen. Applicants must be motivated, hard working person and ready to join our extraordinary culinary team.
- Responsible for general sanitation of main kitchen, grill kitchen, store rooms & loading dock.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Maintain and ensure immaculate facilities.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the front of house and back of house areas using a 'clean as you go' philosophy
- Responsible for flow management, concentrating on busy areas first - prioritizing and organizing steps of service by effective multi-tasking
- Maintain sanitary conditions in all dining, kitchen, garbage and receiving areas in accordance with state and local regulations, emptying trash regularly.
- Inform supervisor immediately of any equipment not in proper condition or good working order
- Inform supervisor immediately of needed equipment & supplies.
Must be dependable and trustworthy. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must have ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs.
