What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time Maintenance Worker position at Glenville State University?
JOB This is a part-time, temporary, nonexempt position which is a pay grade 2 on the salary schedule. The primary purpose of this position is to assist tradesmen and other facilities staff in all aspects of physical plant operations including facilities and grounds maintenance. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Ability to read and follow instructions. Must be skilled with the use of common tools and equipment used in various trades associated with Physical Plant operations. Must be able to strip and wax floors and move furniture. Mowing and weed eating are some other duties that may be required. Basic math and computer skills are a must. Must have the initiative to work alone and proceed with assigned task.
