Busy multi-physician ophthalmology practice seeking full time medical/ophthalmic assistant/LPN. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic and people skills are a must. Prefer a medical and/or ophthalmic assistant, but not required. Prefer Medent EMR experience, but not required.
No experience necessary - willing to train the right candidate.
Duties:
- Obtain patient medical history, chief complaint, and history of allergies and medications
- Scribe with the doctor during evaluation with patient
- Perform accurate and consistent documentation
- Visual Acuity
- Lensometry
- Confrontational Visual Fields
- Evaluation of Motility
- Pupillary Function Tests
- Tonometry
- Performs diagnostic testing which may include:
- IOL Master
- Visual Fields
- OCT
- Fundus Photography
