About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will work directly with our senior salespeople, playing an essential role in supporting customers from start to finish — from quoting and order entry through fulfillment and follow-up.
The Sales Assistant will help ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently, while also maintaining ongoing communication with customers about new buying opportunities. We're looking for someone who is both meticulous and well-organized in assisting with a growing number of sales orders, while also comfortable working directly with customers.
Responsibilities
● Enter and manage sales orders to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
● Track and update orders and sold merchandise.
● Maintain offer sheets and pricing lists using Excel and our in house inventory software.
● Update, organize, and photograph merchandise for customer offers.
● Keep customers informed of available inventory and buying opportunities.
● Answer customer questions pertaining to merchandise, availability, and product details.
● Maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) records and assist with customer communication.
● Coordinate with the warehouse and office teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
● Provide general sales and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
● Previous experience in sales support, inside sales, or customer service preferred
● Strong organizational and multitasking skills
● Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
● Comfortable working with customers both in person and via phone/email
● Self-motivated and able to work independently while staying aligned with the sales team’s goals
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and email
● Experience with CRM or inventory software a plus
● Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail
