- Personal set of installation tools
- Strong understanding of furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and refrigeration systems
- Working knowledge of low-voltage controls and wiring
- Ability to interpret layouts and install duct systems accurately
- Troubleshooting skills related to installation and startup
- Familiarity with residential and light commercial code requirements
