GCS is seeking an Assistant Head JV Boys Soccer Coach to be responsible for coaching, mentoring, instructing skills and techniques, and building a sense of community within the team, program, and school. The Assistant Head JV Boys Soccer Coach works under the guidance and in coordination with the Varsity and JV coaching staff in achieving the program and school-wide goals.
Overview Of Essential Functions
Previous High School, Club Level, or College Level coaching and/or playing experience is preferred.

The compensation range for this position is $1,000 – $2,000 per season. This position does not have benefits associated with it due to the part-time nature.

Overview Of Essential Functions
- Attend all team activities (games, practices, gatherings, meetings).
- Assist in the supervision of transportation to and from games as needed.
- Assist with email communication with players and families during the season
- Attend all required athletic department or league meetings.
- Responsible for all athletes, equipment, and facilities used while coaching.
- Coaches are responsible for reporting game results to athletic directors as well as responding to emails within 24 hours when in season.
Previous High School, Club Level, or College Level coaching and/or playing experience is preferred.

- Knowledge of fundamental soccer skill and strategy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership skills as the leader of the team.
- Ability to collaborate with coaching staff.
- Good driving record and ability to drive the school minibus.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Riding a school bus long periods of time.
- Drive a minibus.
- Must be able to carry 25 pounds.
