GOLF OUTSIDE OPERATIONS ATTENDANT

Gleneagles Country Club is looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our Golf Department as an Outside Golf Operations Attendant. The ideal candidate will be assisting with the Driving Range and our Bag Room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides carts and bags to loading area as directed by the Bag Room Supervisor.
• Assists members and guests with golf bags when brought to the bag drop area in the parking lot or to bag area.
• Cleans members golf clubs.
• Assists with members bags to and from the driving range when required.
• Maintains driving range and schedules regular ball pick-ups.
• Checks water stations to ensure cleanliness and product stock.
• Maintains putting greens and sand bunker.
• Provides courteous and quality service to members and guests at all times.
• Notifies mechanic when service problems are noticed on golf carts and tags them.
• Maintains clean cart and bag storage area.
• Communicate with co-workers, management, members, guests and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conform with, and abide by all regulations, policies, safety rules and guidelines, work procedures and instructions.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must be courteous and pleasant at all times.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be fluent in English.

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.
• Able to carry and lift golf bags above the head weighing up to 50 pounds.
