Job Description
- Leadership & Supervision: Manages daily operations, staffing, and workflow for the Patient Registration/Admitting department; provides staff training and support.
- Patient Registration Accuracy: Ensures precise entry of patient demographics, insurance, and financial data; verifies coverage and authorizations. Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits and obtains required authorization
- Compliance & Quality: Ensures adherence to policies, HIPAA, and legal standards; audits records for accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Service: Upholds high service standards, addressing patient concerns professionally and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaboration: Serves as a liaison between departments, promoting clear communication and teamwork across shifts.
- Problem Solving: Supports staff in resolving complex registration issues and escalates when necessary.
- Reporting: Assists in monitoring performance metrics and recommends improvements based on trend analysis.
- Technology: Proficient in registration systems; trains staff on updates and workflow changes.
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CHLB/Glendora Hospital roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CHLB/Glendora Hospital in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
