Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique agency located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk for a company in San Dimas.
Job Description:
This role involves supporting the sales team on anything from entering sales orders to invoicing customers.
Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
· Responsible for all accounts payable & receivable duties.
· Manage receivable reports, including running credit cards, check credit histories, and follow up on past due accounts.
· Post payables.
· Match checks when processed by the accountant.
· Send out correspondence and process incoming mail.
· Utilize CashPro to create bank deposits.
· Complete clerical tasks, such as answering phone calls, filing, scanning, data entry, organizing, etc.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:
· Four years of accounts payable & receivable experience required.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field highly preferred.
· Experience with SAGE 100, Microsoft Office 365, and OneDrive highly preferred.
· Knowledge of small packages & freight transportation is a plus.
· Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
· Accurate data entry skills required.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be organized and detail oriented.
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: $20 - $23/hour (Depending on experience)
Salary : $20 - $23
