Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique agency located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a manufacturing company in City of Industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices in a timely manner, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors across multiple legal entities, updating vendor records for various companies, and addressing cash flow needs to the Finance department.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
· Review receiving documents against purchase orders and process vendor invoices for payment, with proper approval.
· Process intercompany invoices, journal entries, and related transactions across multiple legal entities.
· Handle vendor phone calls/emails regarding issues with unpaid invoices.
· Assess sales and use tax on invoices, as required.
· Generate payment runs to vendors across multiple legal entities in a timely manner.
· Act as a liaison between corporate and factory locations, addressing any issues, discussing solutions, and implementing training sessions for new processes.
· Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:
· 3 years of Accounts Payable experience required. Associate degree in related field preferred, or equivalent combination of related experience with High School diploma required.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field a plus.
· Knowledge Microsoft Dynamics or an ERP system required.
· Candidate must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and 10-key by touch.
· Experience within a manufacturing accounting environment highly preferred.
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment a must.
· Ability to organize and prioritize daily and monthly duties.
· Ability to adapt to change and provide constructive feedback.
· Must be a team player & able to work with other individuals in & outside the department (at various levels) in a positive manner.
Position: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm
Salary: $25 - $30/hour (Depending on experience)
