What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Adjunct Instructor position at Glendale Community College?

The Technology and Aviation Division is currently accepting applications for part-time instructors in Engineering.
The assignment is for Summer and/or Fall 2026.
Master's degree in any field of engineering OR bachelor's degree in any of the above AND master's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, chemistry, or geology OR the equivalent. (NOTE: A bachelor's degree in any field of engineering with a professional engineer's license is an alternative qualification for this discipline).
Adjunct applications are accepted on a continuous basis for immediate and future hiring needs. Applicants will be contacted if selected for further consideration. Adjunct pools remain open throughout the academic year to support ongoing recruitment for departmental assignments and can close at any time. · Transcripts showing completion of required degree must be submitted. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted only during the application process. Official transcripts are required upon offer of employment. Foreign transcripts and degrees require official certification of equivalency to U.S. transcripts and degrees by a certified U.S. review service at the time of application.
