Applications are being accepted for a secretarial position in the Central School office. Central School is our 5th-8th-grade attendance center, serving ~550 students and 95 staff members. This individual will work closely with the building principal, staff, students, and parents to support needs within the school. A love of children in addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills are a priority. Experience preferred in prioritizing multiple tasks, organization, use of various software programs. This role is essential to the building's daily operations and to supporting students, families, and staff with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. This team member plays a key role in creating a warm, responsive school environment while managing a wide range of clerical, communication, and organizational responsibilities.
Qualifications: Previous experience in a support staff role preferred. Technology skills required and the ability to learn various software applications. Familiarity with PowerSchool software preferred. This individual should be skilled in working with the public as well as students/staff visiting the school office.
Working Conditions: This is a full-time 11-month position with the opportunity to be a 12-month position. Salary commensurate with experience and training.
