Position Summary:
Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing call to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) in charge of the shift. Responsibilities include patient care activities in the nursing unit such as assisting with toileting, brushing of teeth, positioning, bathing, rehab cares, and dressing.
Education and Experience:
- Must possess current certification as a Nursing Assistant, Registered and listed on the Minnesota Board of Nursing – Nursing Assistant Registry.
- Must have current BLS/CPR certification.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer service focus with ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
- Excellent communication skillset.
- Must be able to meet facility required physical job requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
Hourly Range: $20.09 - $26.19
