Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Surveyor located in New York, NY. The Surveyor will be responsible for performing layout, measuring and preparing survey reports, and ensuring the accuracy of measurements. The role also includes coordinating with project managers, using surveying instruments, and maintaining documentation of the surveys. The Surveyor will be expected to adhere to safety standards and regulations while working on various construction sites.
Qualifications
- Experience with surveying instruments and tools, such as total stations, GPS, and levels
- Ability to perform surveys, measure and do filed layout accurately
- Proficiency in preparing detailed survey reports and maintaining documentation
- Strong coordination skills with project managers and other team members
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to construction sites
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in construction or related industry is beneficial
