Glencadia is looking for a full-time employee to supervise dog boarding and grooming in New York's Hudson Valley near the towns of Hudson, Chatham, and Kinderhook.

Duties
The ideal candidate would handle both hands-on work (outside, with animals, etc) and adapt to our changing and sophisticated proprietary technology (use various commercial and developed apps). A candidate who can already groom dogs or can take an online class (tuition paid) to quickly add grooming to their skill set is a plus. Dog first aid is another plus. Candidates interested in working with us as we develop and market our proprietary software are encouraged to apply. A college education is a plus.
Team
Current staff includes drivers, kennel staff, customer support/developer, and a facility maintenance team. The candidate would work with this team to ensure delivery, fleet maintenance, dog activities, inventory, and other activities proceed according to plan. Manager here means that the candidate can and sometimes does all the basic jobs: contact customers from time to time, deliver dogs (rarely), care for dogs, take and tag photos, groom dogs or make sure they get groomed, and monitor vehicles, fences, and other facilities.
Pay: $1,250.00 - $2,000.00 per week
