Laundry Aide

Glenburnie Health & Rehab in Richmond, VA is seeking qualified individuals to join our growing team as Laundry Assistants.

As a Laundry Assistant, you play an essential role in maintaining the comfort, cleanliness, and dignity of our residents by ensuring all linens and personal clothing are clean, fresh, and properly cared for. What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to facility standards

• Ensure all areas are maintained in a neat, orderly, and safe condition

• Handle laundry, linens, and resident clothing as needed to maintain a fresh and hygienic environment

• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials

• Report any maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards promptly

• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure residents’ needs are met efficiently

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned to support overall facility operations

What You Need

• Prior laundry or environmental services experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)

• Knowledge of safe handling procedures for linens and cleaning chemicals

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team

• Positive attitude and a strong sense of pride in providing quality service
