Job Title: Part-Time Activities Assistant

Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 3 Days per Week

Position Overview:
Glenbridge Health and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This individual will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting with the planning and execution of engaging and meaningful recreational activities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of daily activity programs for residents, including games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events.
Encourage resident participation and help create a positive, energetic atmosphere.
Set up and clean up activity areas before and after events.
Maintain accurate attendance records and provide input for monthly activity calendars.
Accompany and assist residents during outings or community events as needed.
Collaborate with the Activities Director and other team members to ensure programming meets the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of all residents.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Follow all facility policies and procedures, including safety and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with the elderly and individuals with varying levels of ability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CPR certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
