What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at Glen Raven?
Trivantage is recruiting for an Outside Sales Representative which will be responsible for managing and growing sales and market share year over year in a specific geographic territory. This person must be a self-starter and can build brand equity in Trivantage, Glen Raven, and Sunbrella brands This is a solutions based, value add sales role. The right candidate must be living within the assigned territory or willing to relocate within the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve established revenue and growth targets
- Establish current market position within the territory by customer in order to determine and prioritize opportunities
- Advocate for Trivantage, Glen Raven, Sunbrella and the industry in general in a manner that adds value, increases brand equity, and builds market perceptions
- Forecast territory against plan and historical trends
- Manage time effectively by focusing on major growth opportunities and top accounts
- Create travel plans in line with key business opportunities
- Develop and build strong executive level relationships with key customers
- Provide competitive intelligence, market trends within your territory
- Timely completion of required reports – CRM, Forecasts, Business Planning
- Required travel 50%-70%
Education and Experience:
- BA or equivalent
- Relevant experience in B2B, B2B2C business models
- 5 years in sales, business development, product management or marketing
- Some background/competency in marketing
- Effective communicator
