Description
Glen Raven is recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 which is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair work on corporate properties under direct supervision. Assists higher-level technicians and supports daily operations by maintaining tools, equipment, and facilities in safe and efficient working order. Learns company maintenance procedures and safety protocols through on-the-job training.
- This role requires on rotational on call weekend schedule***
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as replacing light fixtures, basic plumbing, painting, and minor repairs.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of corporate events.
- Support delivery and movement of materials and mail across corporate and logistics campuses.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Inspect and report building, equipment, or vehicle issues to senior technicians or supervisors.
- Assist in routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Follow company safety standards, OSHA regulations, and departmental policies.
- Participate in required training and safety programs.
- Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely under supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical/trade school training preferred but not required.
- 0 – 2 years of general maintenance, custodial, or mechanical work preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude
