Facility Maintenance Technician I

Glen Raven is recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Technician 1 which is responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair work on corporate properties under direct supervision. Assists higher-level technicians and supports daily operations by maintaining tools, equipment, and facilities in safe and efficient working order. Learns company maintenance procedures and safety protocols through on-the-job training.

***This role requires on rotational on call weekend schedule***

Responsibilities: 

• Perform general maintenance tasks, such as replacing light fixtures, basic plumbing, painting, and minor repairs.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of corporate events.
• Support delivery and movement of materials and mail across corporate and logistics campuses.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Inspect and report building, equipment, or vehicle issues to senior technicians or supervisors.
• Assist in routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Follow company safety standards, OSHA regulations, and departmental policies.
• Participate in required training and safety programs.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely under supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical/trade school training preferred but not required.
• 0 – 2 years of general maintenance, custodial, or mechanical work preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and integrity
