Glen-Gery products are sold nationally through a network of over 500 distributors as well as in Canada. Since entering the USA in 2018, Brickworks have acquired Sioux City Brick, Redland Brick and the distribution business of Southfield Corporation in Illinois and Indiana (Illinois Brick, Indiana Brick). The combined North American business now has more than 900 employees, operates across 40 locations, including 8 brick plants, 26 masonry supply/retail locations and 3 design studios.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Machine Operator your primary responsibility is the operation, and monitoring of industrial machinery, ensuring efficient functionality, quality control, necessary machine adjustments and monitoring settings, conducting routine inspections, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial manufacturing machines, while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards. Providing support for the operations of a fast-paced plant.

Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience in the operation of industrial manufacturing machines
- General knowledge of all maintenance fields: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics operated equipment, as well as electronic and vacuum systems preferred
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to rotate shifts.
- Previous experience as a machine operator within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting experience
