We are looking for a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician to bring their skills, compassion, and professionalism to our growing practice. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, and lab work
• Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and medical procedures
• Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed
• Educate clients on pet care, nutrition, and preventative medicine
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper patient care
• Support and mentor veterinary assistants and other team members

What We’re Looking For:

• Current CVT/LVT/RVT license (or eligibility, recent graduate)
• Strong technical and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate, calm, and professional demeanor with animals and clients
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth

Salary: Starting at $18-$24: based on experience.

Pay Frequency: Bi Weekly  

Schedule:  Shifts consist of AM, PM & Weekends.  We do our best to honor shift preferences in order to maintain a good work life balance.

Educational Requirements & Skills Needed

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterianry assistant or veterinary technichian
  

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Completion of a veterinary technichian program.

Licensing

• Licensed in Illinois to practice as a Certified Veterinary Technichian
