- Operate and maintain equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and power tools to handle materials safely and efficiently within the shop.
- Apply industrial or construction-grade paints through airless spray systems or auto body repair techniques to achieve durable finishes.
- Use precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to verify dimensions and ensure plating quality meets specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of finished products, performing touch-ups with auto painting or welding as needed to meet quality standards.
- Handle materials safely using proper materials handling procedures, including fabrication and assembly tasks when required.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall shop efficiency while adhering to safety protocols.
