Position: Computer Scientist/Software Programmer

FLSA Classification: Exempt Onsite

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, implement, and test customized mission planning software written in Visual C and Python at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Applicant must be able to create clear and logical graphical user interface designs, DLL interface designs, and data displays, convert between data formats, and manipulate large lookup tables. A minimal amount of travel may be required.

Experience/Skills/Education:

• Must be proficient in C/C and object-oriented design
• Must be proficient in Visual C /MFC GUI development
• Must be proficient in Python or able to learn quickly
• Knowledge of OpenGL is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an applicable Engineering discipline, and 3 years of experience.
• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and a team player
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills

Security Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to obtain a U.S Government Security Clearance. Active U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred.
