GiGi's Self Storage is seeking a dedicated and organized Storage Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our storage facility locations in Greenfield, MA and surrounding locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset, ensuring that all storage processes run smoothly while maintaining high standards of service. This role requires effective communication (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage shifting responsibilities, making it essential for this role to be proactive in addressing any challenges or opportunities that arise.
The position is supported by a home office team. Full training and support provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Interact with current and/or prospective customers at all GiGi’s locations via phone or in person at local facilities. Identify customer’s storage needs and deploy prompt solutions while providing friendly customer service.
- Sales: Responsible for meeting forecasted sales initiatives through rental promotions, insurance enrollment and moving supplies to maximize revenue growth streams and facility occupancy.
- Financial: Assists with reconciliation of customer accounts/payments and supports the home offices’ auction processes under the Massachusetts Lien Law (as needed). Responsible for assisting in budgeting processes by monitoring expenses related to storage operations and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Communication: Maintains an open line of communication with the leadership team, including but not limited to, facility analytics, business development goal tracking and tenant related issues.
- Facilities/Operations: Ensures that the facility meets the company's cleanliness and safety standards and adheres to a regular cleaning schedule. Communicates with the maintenance team to report and coordinate specific maintenance requests and/or special projects. May assist or be responsible for vendor management and procurement for outsourced services as needed.
- Technology & Software: Utilize our facility management software to support functions including, but not limited to: managing customer relations, processing payments, updating unit inventory /descriptions/pricing and operating the gate/access systems. Responsible for oversight of facility security systems. Basic email and Microsoft Office skills.
- Administrative: Manages all onsite in-office operations.
- Additional: Other duties and tasks as needed.

Key Qualifications:
- High School Education or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Position will travel between local facilities. Mileage reimbursed at rate put forth by IRS (2026 rate 72.5 cents/mile).
- Ability to perform light maintenance/cleaning duties and lift to 25 pounds.
- Familiarity with computer software systems and processes proficient computer skills.
- Proficiency in retail math for effective inventory management and financial oversight.
- Successful background check.
Compensation:
- $25 per hour w/ quarterly sales bonus
