Position Title: Housekeeping Quality Inspector
Location: The Westin Poinsett, Greenville, SC
Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Supervisor
Schedule: Must be available to work evening hours, including weekends and holidays
Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Quality Inspector ensures that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the Westin Poinsett’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and functionality. This position plays a key role in maintaining the hotel’s AAA Four-Diamond status through thorough inspections, attention to detail, and teamwork. The ideal candidate takes pride in upholding excellence, has an eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed inspections of cleaned guest rooms and public spaces to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met
Verify all amenities, linens, and room setups are properly stocked and presented
Report and follow up on maintenance issues or deficiencies found during inspections
Provide real-time feedback to Room Attendants and support ongoing training and development
Coordinate with the Front Desk and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals
Uphold Westin brand cleanliness and service standards
Assist with room cleaning, turndown service, or laundry as needed
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping or quality control experience preferred
Must be able to work evening hours, including weekends and holidays
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
