Housekeeping QA Inspector

Position Title: Housekeeping Quality Inspector
Location: The Westin Poinsett, Greenville, SC
Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Executive Housekeeper / Housekeeping Supervisor
Schedule: Must be available to work evening hours, including weekends and holidays

Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Quality Inspector ensures that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the Westin Poinsett’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and functionality. This position plays a key role in maintaining the hotel’s AAA Four-Diamond status through thorough inspections, attention to detail, and teamwork. The ideal candidate takes pride in upholding excellence, has an eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of cleaned guest rooms and public spaces to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met

• Verify all amenities, linens, and room setups are properly stocked and presented

• Report and follow up on maintenance issues or deficiencies found during inspections

• Provide real-time feedback to Room Attendants and support ongoing training and development

• Coordinate with the Front Desk and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals

• Uphold Westin brand cleanliness and service standards

• Assist with room cleaning, turndown service, or laundry as needed

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or quality control experience preferred

• Must be able to work evening hours, including weekends and holidays

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision

• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds

• Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
