We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech with a specialty in Cardiology to join our team in Roanoke, VA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate must have experience in the Operating Room (OR) and Fluoroscopy.

Scheduling Details and Charting:

• Shift: 3x12 Nights, 19:00-07:00; Friday-Sunday, plus call and holiday rotation.
  
• On Call Requirement: On call rotation with staff.
  
• RTO: All requests must be included with the submission. Christmas RTO will not be approved.
  
• Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
  
• Holiday Requirement: Holidays are required and are scheduled based on unit need. Traveler may be scheduled to work a holiday that falls outside of contracted days.
  
• Accept First-Time Travelers: No.
  
• Locals Accepted: No. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria.
  
• Pending License Accepted: Virginia state license required. Any active state license (in hand) is accepted. Virginia will grant emergency authorization to travelers with a license so they can work while their permanent VA license is processing.
  

Required Certifications:

• BLS / ARRT(R) required.
  

Clinical Skills:

• Fluoroscopy experience.
  
• Abdomen: Abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine (KUB), abdomen upright.
  
• Upper extremity: AC joints, Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Humerus, Scapula, Shoulder, Thumb/finger, Trauma shoulder or Humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic Axial), Trauma upper extremity (non-shoulder), Wrist.
  
• Lower extremity: Ankle, Calcaneus, Femur, Foot, Knee, Patella, Tibia-fibula, Toes, Trauma lower extremity.
  
• Head/Chest: Chest AP, Upper Airway, Facial bones, paranasal sinuses, skull.
  
• Spine/Pelvis: Cervical/Lumbar/Thoracic spine, hip, pelvis, sacrum/coccyx.
  

Work Settings: Adult Acute Care and Outpatient, bedside/portable, ER, ICU, Pediatrics, PICU, OR.

Patient Population: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.

Hospital Highlights: The facility is an acute care teaching hospital featuring over 700 licensed beds, is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and recognized as a certified stroke center.
