What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Investor Relations position at GLC Group?
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fundraising, investor relations, and strategic relationship management within alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead fundraising efforts across institutional investors, family offices, RIAs, wealth platforms, and accredited investor channels
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective LP relationships
• Serve as a primary point of contact for existing investors and Limited Partners
• Drive investor meetings, due diligence sessions, presentations, and fundraising campaigns
• Oversee investor communications including reporting, fund updates, and portfolio transparency
• Partner with executive leadership on capital formation strategy and investor targeting
• Support fund launches, subscription processes, and investor onboarding
• Enhance investor presentations, DDQs, fundraising materials, and overall institutional messaging
Ideal Background:
• 3 years of experience in Investor Relations, Capital Raising, Institutional Sales, or Fundraising within private equity, private credit, real estate private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investments
• Strong track record raising capital from institutional investors, family offices, and HNW channels
• Deep understanding of private credit, commercial real estate debt, and alternative investment structures
• Strong relationship management skills with sophisticated LPs and allocators
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
