GLC Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN/Per Diem shifts at an LTC facility in Oskaloosa, IA.
Pay & Schedule:
- Hourly Rate: $40
- Weekly Pay – Every Friday
- Flexible PRN shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document residents' health status and changes in condition.
- Provide direct nursing care and support with daily living activities.
- Assess residents and report concerns to the RN, physician, or care team.
- Develop, implement, and update resident care plans.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing assistants and support staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Educate residents and families on care plans and health needs.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of recent LTC/SNF experience
- BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption, if applicable
