Corporate Controller

GLC Executive Search is representing a confidential client seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join its accounting and finance leadership team in the West Palm Beach Area. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a hands-on accounting executive who combines strong technical accounting expertise with experience in corporate financial reporting, treasury operations, cash management, and internal controls. The Corporate Controller will play a key role in strengthening financial infrastructure, optimizing cash flow and liquidity, ensuring debt covenant compliance, and improving operational processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead corporate and subsidiary month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee corporate cash management, liquidity planning, and short- and long-term cash flow forecasting.
• Manage debt covenant calculations, compliance monitoring, and lender reporting.
• Maintain strong banking relationships and support working capital optimization.
• Provide strategic oversight of Accounts Payable, vendor payment controls, and procure-to-pay processes.
• Oversee contract administration and improve contract lifecycle management.
• Strengthen lease administration, tenant billing, and collections processes.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate internal controls, accounting policies, and financial workflows.
• Partner with accounting, finance, and operations leadership to support the organization's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA license required.
• 10 years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance.
• Real estate or financial services experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience, particularly with a Big Four or national firm, preferred.
• Experience with Yardi is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
