Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Lead all on-site construction activities
- Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and updated drawings
- Chair weekly subcontractor meetings and coordinate field efforts
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce company and OSHA safety standards
- Maintain site-specific safety documentation and ensure subcontractor compliance
- Actively model and enforce proper PPE and jobsite protocols
Scheduling & Coordination
- Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules
- Monitor lead times, material deliveries, and subcontractor workflow
- Assist in buyout and submittal tracking
Quality Assurance
- Conduct QA/QC checks throughout all phases of the build
- Manage preconstruction meetings, mock-ups, and closeout inspections
- Ensure all work aligns with codes, plans, and specifications
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in wood-frame multi-family commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices
- Proficient with MS Office, Procore, and construction management software
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, and navigate active construction sites
- Must have good vision, hearing, and general physical endurance
- Occasional lifting and use of ladders or scaffolding may be required
