What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Events Representative – CDL Class A Preferred position at Glazer's Beer and Beverage?
At Capital Beer and Beverage, we are looking for a Special Events Representative who can maintain regular event and market presence, safely operate company vehicles, and provide hands-on support across assigned venues before, during, and after special events as business needs require.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll support special events, maintain product quality, provide excellent customer service, and help ensure events are executed safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks for special events.
- Set up point-of-sale (POS) materials and equipment for events, as required, and ensure all materials are collected at the conclusion of each event.
- Service customers at events in accordance with TABC guidelines, including stocking and rotating beer products.
- Clean draught lines monthly according to the established North and South County schedule.
- Safely operate company vehicles and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Document and monitor beer product dates at large venues.
- Check products in and out of the Capital Beer and Beverage warehouse.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with and assist the Special Events Manager as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the adult beverage industry, product sales, hospitality, or a related field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must be available to work weekends and overtime as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, provide updates, and facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, customers, other business areas, and government agencies, as required.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate workload and priorities across multiple events.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional business relationships with customers while working in the market.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Physical Requirements
- Work requires frequent walking, standing, carrying, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, twisting, and climbing stairs.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to perform job duties in both indoor and outdoor environments, including hot and cold weather conditions.
