Job Overview
 We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, particularly in baking and pastry preparation. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating various baked goods, ensuring high quality and presentation standards while adhering to food safety regulations. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of donuts, bread, and pastries according to established recipes and specifications.
• Ensure all food preparation meets safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones based on customer feedback.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions about products, and accommodating special requests.

Skills

• Proficient in food preparation techniques, focusing on baking and pastry skills.
• Strong understanding of culinary principles related to the food industry, including food safety and handling practices.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and baking tools.
• Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and decoration of baked goods.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
• Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers alike.

Pay: From $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
