Mail Sorter/Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Mail Sorter/Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will help process and organize mail by sorting items, operating mail processing equipment, and preparing mail for delivery or distribution. No previous experience is required. We provide full training to help you learn the equipment, safety procedures, and daily responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Receive and sort incoming mail into the correct categories or locations.
• Operate mail processing and sorting machines after completing company training.
• Load mail into machines and remove processed mail.
• Check mail for damaged, unreadable, or incorrectly sorted items and report any issues to a supervisor.
• Prepare mail for packaging, shipping, or distribution.
• Label trays, containers, or packages as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of clutter.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Work with team members to meet daily processing goals.
• Perform simple quality checks to help ensure mail is sorted accurately.
• Assist with general mailroom tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required. Full training will be provided.
• You are willing to learn how to safely operate mail processing equipment.
• You work well with others and value Teamwork.
• You have Basic English skills to understand instructions, communicate with team members, and complete simple work-related tasks.
• You demonstrate Attention to detail when sorting mail and checking for accuracy.
• You are reliable and able to follow established procedures.
• You are motivated to learn and contribute to a positive work environment.
• You can stay organized while completing repetitive tasks with care.
• You are comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light physical activities such as lifting, moving, and organizing mail within a safe work environment.

Pay: $24.70 - $29.74 per hour
