NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION: Paraeducator, Office – Part-Time (Union Position)
Gideon Welles School
WAGES: $19.50 per hour
SCHEDULE: 10-Month position, 18 hours per week
M-Th: 11:30 am-3:00 pm, F: 11:00 am-3:00 pm
DUTIES: Provides support to teachers and administrative staff. Assists with
School activities and programs; performs clerical functions; helps
staff monitor students; provides assistance with student
instruction. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent skills with technology proficiency in Windows, and
Google, strong interpersonal skills; excellent customer service
skills; ability to maintain accurate information, records and relate
easily and work well with the public and the staff. Ability to handle
multiple tasks at once. Strong independent thinking and
organizational skills. Ability to determine and adjust priorities in
constantly changing environment.
