NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION: Custodian, Full-Time (Two Positions Available)
District Wide – Floater (Union Position)
12-Month position
2nd Shift, 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm
40 Hours per week (possible overtime)
HOURLY WAGE: $29.00 per hour and full benefits as provided in Custodial,
Maintenance and General Service Employees' Union Agreement.
DUTIES: Provide a clean, safe and healthy school environment. Complete
tasks requested by administrators, Head Custodian, and the
Custodial Foreman.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2-years custodial or relevant cleaning work experience
and valid Connecticut driver's license.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship
with supervisors, co-workers and the general public. Ability to
follow oral and written instructions. Ability to understand and
follow directions, assignment routines and the methods,
techniques and materials used in a cleaning operation.
