What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at GLASSource?
Glassource LLC (Basco-Grand Haven) is a rapidly growing state-of-the-art glass fabrication facility looking for a full time Customer Service Representative to grow with our company. Ideal candidates should be accurate, reliable, and able to work independently in a very active environment.
Our Customer Service Representatives are the first point of contact for inbound customers calls and emails as well as a direct representation of our company. We rely on our CSRs to create exceptional customer experiences, ensure information is accurate, and operate at all times with integrity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Order entry
- Order checking and confirmation
- Telephone & technical support
- Problem solving
- Special projects
Position Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year customer support experience
- Detail oriented and accurate with measurements including fractions, decimals, in both imperial and metric systems.
- College degree a plus
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Strong mathematical skills required
Key Competencies:
- Construction experience (i.e. technical mindset, worked with metric system, understand how to build/assemble shower doors, tables etc.)
- Strong technical skills
- Demonstrate awareness of quality
- Exceptional telephone service
- Good inner office communication skills
- Must have an excellent attendance record
- Must be able to multitask
