Hours/Schedule
Coordinate R&D projects with Directors of Cultivation, Propagation and Processing.
Oversee research activities in the Propagation, Cultivation and Processing and implementation of the new tested solutions and protocols to improve business.
Design experiments and create backend system to collect data for research and development on the area of Propagation, Cultivation and Processing.
Preparation of projects implementation and applications.
Monitor, collect, analyze project data, and presents weekly reports with conclusions to the Directors of Cultivation, Propagation, Processing.
- Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals.
- Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study potential new products.
- Establish projects goals and priorities by collaborating with Propagation, Cultivation, Processing and Sale departments.
- Research, design and evaluate trials of new cannabis cultivars.
- Research, design and evaluate materials, products, processes, and equipment.
- Be the point person for designing, developing, and maintaining a database to collect real time information for R&D projects and tests.
- Collaborate with the appropriate parties on researching, trialing and introducing new cannabis cultivars for cultivation.
- Collect data and examine it to spot trends and glean information that can be used to make business decisions.
- Assess the scope of research projects and ensure they are on time and within budget.
- Document all phases of research and development.
- Analyze and identify opportunities for improvement by conducting observations.
- Presenting the findings and conclusions to decision makers.
- Identify, integrate, and apply solutions for quality performance and continual reporting.
- Work together with management to centralize and organize data.
- Independently implement improvements and communicate project prioritization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- 3 years’ experience in the cannabis cultivation or research
- Priva Office
- Experience in greenhouse, infrastructure
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must possess a Driver’s License
- Proven experience in the field of cannabis growing and research.
- A strong sense of creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week.
- Must have excellent ability to problem solve and consistently work collaboratively with other departments, manage multiple projects simultaneously and tourn around assignments quickly without compromising quality.
- Have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent teamwork skills.
- Possess strong project management skills-experience with creating project plans, setting goals and meeting deadlines.

- This position is an exempt full-time position.
- Flexible Monday through Friday weekly hours plus weekends and evenings as needed to manage special projects.
- This position works out of Camarillo, CA.
