Glass Doctor of Meridian, ID is under new ownership and is looking for an experienced Flat Glass Technician/Glazier to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install flat glass for residential and commercial applications
- Perform glass replacements for windows, doors, storefronts, and mirrors
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and job specifications
- Safely handle and transport glass materials and glazing equipment
- Inspect completed installations for quality and accuracy
- Interact professionally with customers on job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a glazier or flat glass technician required, including working independently
- At least one year of experience installing commercial storefront or heavy glass showers
- Knowledge of glass cutting, framing, and installation techniques
- Ability to work with storefront systems, window frames, and door hardware
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a basic background check
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy glass panels safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
