What are the responsibilities and job description for the Glass Card Outreach Specialist position at Glass Card?
FOR WHOM
This job is great for someone looking to work from home 10-20 hours a week during business hours (Monday-Friday 7am-6pm). Perfect for stay at home parents and college students. This is not a good fit for someone looking for full-time work or a second job.
COMPANY
Glass Card builds fundraiser cards for schools, non-profits, and other community groups across the country (glasscardapp.com).
DETAILS
Our "Active Fundraiser" teams work from home to make calls to businesses in different cities across the country asking business managers/owners if they want to freely advertise a discount on their local fundraiser card.
After we complete the initial card we allow our "Outreach" teams to further build up the discount offerings of these cards even after the fundraiser has been completed. This helps build out our national deal network on the app and brings more value to the schools' current donors this year and next. This is not a sales job, but you will be making lots of calls and emails to businesses asking if they want to participate. This is a very common request and most businesses actively want to participate when asked.
