What are the responsibilities and job description for the Glass Block Window Installer position at Glass Block Headquarters?
We are looking for an experienced glass block window installer who is already capable of handling jobs independently with good workmanship.

Pay: range of $185 per day to $215 per day depending on skill level; (1st month probationary period of $130 per day)

Job requirements:
- At least one year experience installing glass block windows
- Self-starter: able to be taught/given an assignment and execute independently or with a crew
- Reliable: Solid communication skills and will arrive to work on time each day
- Professional demeanor: motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in their work
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation to our office (will use company box truck to go to customer sites). Able to be insured.
- Saturday availability when occasionally needed
- Observes job site safety rules, OSHA guidelines and company safety policies and procedures
Physical requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 70 lbs or more
- Walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor
- Uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Requires good manual dexterity, multi-limb coordination, and stamina
- Ability to work outdoors year-round

Job Summary:
- Loading window materials onto truck, bringing to customers’ sites
- Removing existing windows, typically with hand tools such as sawzall and crowbar
- Installing already-fabricated glass block windows using mortar around perimeter with good masonry skills
- Positive customer service and interactions with homeowners on-site
- Cleaning up jobsite afterward
