Responsibilities
- Remove and replace auto glass with precision, ensuring proper fit and seal integrity for safety and durability
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized glass installation equipment to perform installations efficiently
- Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage and determine appropriate repair or replacement procedures
- Apply advanced techniques such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly after glass replacement
- Perform window tinting services when required, enhancing vehicle appearance and privacy
- Assist with auto body repair tasks and vehicle detailing to deliver comprehensive service solutions
- Lift heavy glass components safely, following proper ergonomic practices to prevent injury
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with auto glass installation, assembly, and auto body repair techniques
- Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration and auto estimating procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Experience with vehicle maintenance, auto estimating, or mechanic work will be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
